Tom Newman Class of 1958
Tom Newman, age 70 of Mantua, NJ died suddenly on July 16 at Underwood Mem Hospital. Born in Scranton, PA, he was a graduate of Milton Hershey High School in 1958, and moved to Mantua in 1992. He was employed by Ekco Products from 1990 until his retirement in 2006 and by the Pitman Manor for the past 2 years as security.
Survived by his wife of 46 years, Marie C. Newman (nee Henry), sons Stephen (Maggie) of Pitman, and Jody of Los Angelas, CA, grandson Nathaniel, and brother Daniel Carter of North Jersey.
Friends may call on Tuesday after 10 AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Memorial Service at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society, 528 Fellowship Rd., Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Memorials may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com
