Florence Schilling passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Florence and August (Gus) Schilling came to MHS in 1962, and served as houseparents for 27 years. Their selfless love, dedication, sacrifice, and contributions in helping hundreds of needy children grow up in a family-like atmosphere is an affirmation of the kind of people Milton and Catherine Hershey wanted to be associated with MHS. For these and many other reasons, Florence will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Florence Schilling will be held on Tuesday, June 29th from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, 330 Hilltop Road, Hummelstown. There will be fellowship time after the Celebration Service. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to Carol Schilling, 2026 Carlton Drive, Lebanon, PA 17042
