James E. Brennan, 84, of 510 Mine Road, Lebanon died Thursday May 20, 2010 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Dorothy M. Coburn Brennan who died in 2002. Born in Clymer, PA on March 20, 1926, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Stern Brennan. Along with his wife, Jim was a houseparent at Milton Hershey Schools and then retired from the Transportation Department at Milton Hershey. He also was a self-employed truck driver in Apollo, PA. He was a US Navy Veteran of WW II; a member of Brownstone Lodge #666, F. & A.M., Hershey, Harrisburg Consistory, and the Zembo Temple Shrine. He was also an avid hunter, enjoyed watching Westerns, and spending time with his family. Surviving are three daughters Mary Lee, wife of Lou Naccarato of Apollo, PA, Pamela J. Dunkleberger of Lebanon, Diana L. Autrey of Coral Springs, Fla., nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a brother Charles A. Brennan and wife Bette of Clinton, OH, three sisters Erma wife of John Czyrny of North Tonawanda, NY, Nancy L. Dabrow of Enfield, Conn., and Millie J. wife of Gerald Mason of Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by a sister Phyllis M. Mowbray. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. James began employment with Milton Hershey School on July 14, 1969 and retired March 1, 1990. James was a Houseparent with his wife Dorothy. Dorothy preceded him in death on September 27, 2002.
