Because of the snow we have decided to change the date of the fundraiser until Saturday, Feb 13, 2010 2-5 pm at the same location. Here's the revised info as well as the facebook link. Mother Nature decided she didn't want to cooperate to help out a friend in need.
What better weekend to reschedule than Valentine's Weekend. Lisa's issues were heart related so we need to show Lisa the love and how much of a heart we have to help her keep moving forward into a greater positive recovery.
So we need to pull out the old Milt Network for one of our own who is in need.
As some of you have been told or have heard, Lisa Redmann MHS 1983, recently has been going through major life-changing medical issues. She recently had open heart surgery and a nearly month-long stay at Pennsylvania Hospital here in Philadelphia, Pa.
For nearly the last 20 years she has owned a small pet care business called Community Pet Care. Unfortunately, if you've ever worked for oneself most don't have their own health insurance. According to her doctor's she will have to be out of work for the next six weeks minimum so she most definitely needs our help. Between that and the potential of medical bills, etc. she could use the help.
We are hosting this event at 2nd Street Annie's, 628 N. Front Street, (corner of Front and Fairmount Streets in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia).
Cost: $30/per person Date: Saturday, February 6, 2010 Time: 2pm-5pm
A buffet of Beef, Pork and other sandwiches with a variety of delicious side salads. Free Draft Coors Lite, Miller Lt and Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) are part of the entry. $2 bottles with the entry bracelet. If cocktails are your thing $5 cocktails and shooters. Gift baskets and a small silent auction. If you wish to donate a prize please get in contact with the organizers.
