Alumni Association Sets Member Dues

In accordance with the vote of the Board of Directors of your Association at its June 22, 2008 meeting, the annual member dues have been set at $25. This will be effective on January 1, 2009. Member dues will commence in the 6^th year after graduation.

The member dues for members of the five prior years are waived or $00.00.

All existing “Life Members” have already paid dues to achieve life membership. Thus, existing Life Members pay no additional membership dues beyond those they have already paid for their existing "Life Membership."

New “Life Memberships” are available on the same basis as was in effect in years past. The prorated scale for new “Life Members” is.

The fee for “Life Membership” may be paid over a five year period. If the individual elects to pay the Life Membership fee in a single payment, then such individual receives a 10% discount.

The purpose of dues is not to raise all the funds needed to support the Association. Rather, the paying of dues is designed to manifest a “buy-in” so as to encourage members to make financial contributions to the Association.

However, failure to pay dues does not cause the loss of membership in the Association. Rather, such membership becomes inactive and certain privileges of membership are suspended. Refer to the By-Laws of the Association.
